resources. As a cost accountant, you have to collect and analyze the financial information from all the areas of a company.
The CMA course has been divided into three stages which are Foundation, Intermediate,
and Final. The detailed information about these stages is mentioned below:
1. CMA Foundation: Minimum 8 months duration.
2. CMA Intermediate: Minimum 10- month duration.
3. CMA Final: Minimum 18 months duration.
CMA Foundation: To apply for this course, students must have passed 10th or equivalent from any recognized institution or board. Candidates who have passed or appearing in 12th are also eligible to apply. Candidates must have completed the age of 17 years.
CMA Intermediate: Students must have passed the Senior Secondary School Examination (10+2) and Foundation Course/ Graduation in any discipline other than fine arts.
CMA Final: You can apply for this course after qualifying the CMA Intermediate course from the institution.
This course comprises of three stages, i.e. CMA Foundation, CMA Intermediate and CMA Final.
CMA FOUNDATION SUBJECTS:(Each paper Contains 100 Marks)
- Fundamental of Economics & Management (FEM)
- Fundamental of Accounting(FOA)
- Fundamental of law & Ethics (FLE)
- Fundamentals of Business Maths & Statistics (FBMS)
A student is required to get a minimum of 40 marks in each paper (not the subject) and an aggregate of 50% in all the papers together to qualify in the examination. A candidate is considered as not qualified if he/she does not get 40% in any one of the papers or if he/she does not get the 50% aggregate (total of 200).
CMA INTERMEDIATE SUBJECTS: Divided into two groups (Contains 8 papers)
GROUP 1 (Each paper contains 100 marks)

- Direct Taxation
- Cost Accounting
GROUP 2 (Each paper contains 100 Marks)
- Operation Management & Strategic Management
- Cost & Management Accounting and Financial Management
- GST & CUSTOM
- Company Accounts and Audit
To clear CMA Inter, you have to score at least 40 in each subject and if you are appearing for single group pass marks will be 200, which means you have to score 50% aggregate marks to pass.The Same goes for both groups, 40 to pass subject wise and 50% to pass both groups, which means 400 marks to clear the groups.
CMA FINAL SUBJECTS: Divided into two Groups (Contains 8 Papers)

In each paper require to score 40 marks and 50% in aggregate (total).
***There is a mandatory Industry Oriented Training Program of 42 hours that a candidate must take and a practical training for 3 years
